OUR PROGRAM
The Certificate Program in Business Analytics is the newest addition to the Center for Business Analytics at Loras College. This fast-paced 10-week program is designed to provide practical experience for the ethical exploration of analytics in an an engaging online environment.
 
OBJECTIVES
Created for mid-career professionals who are motivated to quickly improve themselves and their organization quickly, the Certificate Program has five primary learning objectives:
  • Technology awareness and basic understanding of the applicability to a wide range of analytics  scenarios
  • Introduction to data science methods and techniques
  • Hands-on experience with multiple technologies, including R and Tableau
  • Ability to design and develop performance management processes
  • Context for the ethics of business analysis

Designed to provide a wide range of analytics scenarios, firsthand experience with analytics technologies and knowledge of how to best organize for success and measure results of analytics initiatives. The Certificate Program consists of four core courses (below).
