At Loras, our approximately 500 student-athletes not only represent a diverse group of students, but immerse themselves in groups, situations and organizations, through athletics and beyond, that support diversity and inclusion.

Our student-athletes come from 17 states and 8 different countries.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee also partners with Special Olympics Iowa to host various events with the Special Olympics athletes. Loras recently received a $500 award from the NCAA for the student-athletes' unique efforts with the olympians, that the group funneled into another unique Special Olympics event.
