Loras College President Jim Collins announced the promotion of Mike Doyle (’91) to the position of vice president for Institutional Advancement, effective immediately.
Doyle is a 1991 Loras College graduate and has been serving in the Loras Advancement Division since 2007 in the respective roles of director of the Loras Fund, director of Development and, most recently, as associate vice president and interim vice president. Doyle received his law degree from Marquette University and has subsequently earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner. Aside from his work experience at Loras, Doyle has also had successful tenures at Ernst & Young and Northwestern Mutual.
“During Doyle’s time at Loras, the college has benefited from consistent increases in donations, including an increase in the number of grants awarded and a dramatic increase in planned giving, said Loras College President Jim Collins, “Mike Doyle’s extensive knowledge of philanthropy along with his passion for Loras College and strong leadership ability will greatly enhance our ability to be successful in reaching the College’s future fundraising goals.”
