The Loras College Center for Business Analytics has recently concluded its summer Business Analytics Certificate Program, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback. This online program, which began May 29, 2014, provided 29 students with a high-level immersion into analytics over a 10-week period. Students represented a wide variety of industries including healthcare, finance, insurance and agriculture in organizations like John Deere, UnityPoint Health, Honkamp Kreuger and Prudential Insurance.
“The Business Analytics Certificate Program at Loras College has been an outstanding experience for the UnityPoint Health Analytics Team. Because our analysts have varied educational backgrounds, the certificate program has given our team a common analytics language and is driving more efficient work and more effective outcomes. Additionally, the program’s distinctive focus on ethics has helped work through ensuring the connection between our analytics work and our organization’s mission,” said Rhiannon Harms, analytics manager at UnityPoint Health.
The next Business Analytics Certificate program is scheduled to begin September 2, 2014. Certificates are offered three times annually. To learn more please contact Mike Friend
