The Irish Studies minor, 18 credits, provides excellent complementary study for a major in English, Politics, International Studies, or History, and for students in any major who wish to broaden their liberal arts college experience. Coursework is drawn from English, History, Communication Arts, and other liberal arts. 3-9 of the total credits derive from experiential learning. These may be accrued through the Loras College semester-study-abroad program at the Institute of Art, Design, an technology in Dun Laoghaire (IADT), or through a J-term, or participation in a occasional summer research projects affiliated with IADT.
