Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purpose of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate men and women who are making the study of psychology one of their major interests and who meet the minimum qualification requirements.

Qualification Requirements:
  • Completion of 9 semester hours in Psychology
  • Completion of at least 3 semesters of college course
  • Registration as a major or a minor in Psychology
  • Overall GPA of 3.00
  • 3.20 GPA in Psychology courses
  • For graduate students, the requirement is a 3.00 in Psychology courses
