MERIT-BASED ASSISTANCE & LORAS COLLEGE SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIPS
This is a list of merit-based scholarships available to only U.S. Citizens and permanent residents. These awards are based upon academic merit to full time students, not financial need.
BREITBACH CATHOLIC THINKERS AND LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP
Breitbach Catholic Thinkers and Leaders program is ideal for someone who is Catholic and curious about the tradition of Catholic thinking and enthusiastic about the possibility of making a difference. We welcome students who have had experience with service and leadership in high school. The program offers a $17,000 scholarship to Loras College.
Grant assistance is available to full time students who complete the FASFA and demonstrate financial need.
ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE / SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The Office of Financial Planning receives information from a variety of organizations and companies who offer scholarships to students. Award amounts and criteria, as well as deadline dates, vary for each scholarship. It is recommended that these resources be pursued early in the admission and financial assistance processes.
LORAS COLLEGE TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIPS & GRANTS
Loras College offers renewable tuition awards for qualified, incoming, full-time (12 credits or more) transfer students. Awards will be based on a cumulative college Grade Point Average (on a 4.0 scale).
