IOWA - Four State Flagship Rate Program
Dear students and families,
At Loras College, we understand that choosing a college is one of the most important decisions in a young person’s life. Often times, families don’t realize just how affordable a private education can be. Here at Loras, we believe in the experiences and opportunities you will receive through a Loras education so strongly that we continue in our mission to make Loras an accessible choice. That is why we are excited to offer this financial aid program to qualifying Iowa students.
For students from Iowa, the following requirements must be met: a grade point average (GPA) of 3.25/4.0 scale or better and the family income can NOT exceed $100,000. The student must be accepted to Loras College and live on campus. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to complete the process.
Students from Iowa that meet the mentioned criteria will be awarded financial aid to meet the University of Iowa direct cost of $17,227.
Students will be able to receive the same level of aid for the subsequent 3 years provided that they have made satisfactory academic progress and continue to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) each year.
