The following is a list of graduates from our Engineering Physics program.  Please forgive any mistakes and omissions.  We encourage you to send corrections and updates to us.  The list is in reverse chronological order.  Each alumnus/alumna is listed according to the year they graduated from Loras College.  Please note that alumni/ae of our pre-engineering program are listed on a separate page. 
 
2000 Graduates:
  • Dorojkine, Denis 1996-2000.  Graduate student and Research Assistant, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Iowa State University.  Senior Thesis:  Microcomputer-Controlled, Line-Tracking Racecar.  Senior Engineering Scholarship Recipient (1998).  Sophomore SME Engineering Scholarship Recipient (1997).
  • Eggers, Sara 1996-2000.  Volunteer for Americorps, Chicago, working as webmaster and as web trainer at TEAMing for TECHnology.  Senior Thesis:  Microcomputer-Controlled, Line-Tracking Racecar II.  Senior Engineering Scholarship Recipient (1999).  Sophomore SME Engineering Scholarship Recipient (1997).
1999 Graduates:
  • Frick, Mark 1996-1999 Design Engineer, ThermoKing, Minneapolis, Minnesota (refrigeration, heating, dehumidifying  systems for vehicles, mfrick@thermoking.com ).  Senior Thesis:  Microcomputer-Controlled, Line-Tracking Racecar.  Internship at Entegee (Midstates Technical; CAD design center).
  • Pilcher, Matt 1996-1999 Design Engineer, K-Bar (generators, log splitters, pressure washers, sprayers), Faribault, Minnesota (mgpilcher@uswest.net ). Senior Thesis:  Microcomputer-Controlled, Line-Tracking Racecar.  Senior Engineering Scholarship Recipient (1998).

  • Rolling, Trent 1994-1998 Engineer, Portland, Oregon.  Graduate studies in Industrial Engineering (specialization in foundries), Iowa State University.  Senior Thesis:  Computer-Controlled Model of a River Lock for a Children's Science Museum.  Senior Engineering Scholarship Recipient (1997).
