Lead 4 Exploring
Tier 2 'Lead 4 Exploring' focuses on group dynamics and values. Participants will have the opportunity to develop relationships and resources on campus. Participants will be challenged to expand their existing understanding of leadership. The sessions will help participants understand and actively pursue creative solutions to community problems.
Activities in Tier 2 include:

Facilitating small groups throughout Fall Welcome Days

Participating in Leadership Retreat and Ropes Course

Mentoring first year students through Duhawk Connections

Form a common vision on how to facilitate help first year students satisfaction with Loras College

Participating in ongoing feedback about group process skills

Continuing reflection on experience
Alternating tiers of the LEAD 4 LORAS program will be offered every semester (ie. Tier 2 and Tier 4 in the Fall, Tier 1 and Tier 3 in the Spring) and each tier will consist of 6-10 sessions. At the completion of each tier, participants will receive a certificate of completion and the opportunity to continue on to participate in the next tier.
LEAD 4 Loras is based upon the Social Change Model of Leadership, and is focused on enhancing consciousness of self, congruence, commitment, collaboration, common purpose, controversy with civility, and citizenship.
