Tim Suther ('82)
Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, Acxiom

Tim Suther is Acxiom's Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer. Tim joined Acxiom in 2005 and is responsible for the company's global marketing, strategy and business development activities. Previously, he led the Company's worldwide digital, agency and multichannel marketing services business. He has more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of data, marketing and technology.

Prior to joining Acxiom, Tim served for three years at Metavante, a leading provider of banking and payment technology solutions, most recently as senior vice president of its Response Data Corporation subsidiary. For preceding five years he was president of Protagona Worldwide, a then publicly traded global provider of enterprise marketing software. Earlier, he held various leadership positions at Unisys, a global information services provider.

He is a member of the Direct Marketing Association Board of Directors, Board of Advisors for Loyalty 360, and the North American Advisory Board for the CMO Council. He is also a former member of the executive board of directors for the Sam M. Walton College of Business Center for Retailing Excellence at the University of Arkansas, and the former co-chair of the DMA's iDirect Leadership Committee.

A critically acclaimed speaker and author, Tim regularly presents on breakthrough performance at leading global events, and is a frequent contributor to industry publications. Tim was recently recognized by ExecRank as a Top CMO in 2012.

Tim holds a degree in finance and marketing from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.

Dave Pooley
Vice President, Peloton

Dave works with clients to help them transform planning and performance management processes to world class status. To do this, he applies Mobilization & Assessment Frameworks to vet requirements and leverage the Breakaway Methodology to accelerate the business adoption of the completed solutions.

Outside of the workplace, Dave lives in Cincinnati, OH, with his wife, Debra (Financial Officer by profession), and their dog, Butler (English Labrador Retriever). Living in the Midwest, he has grown to enjoy the laid back nature of the heartland. And, he has begun to embrace the pleasures of 18 holes of golf on weekends and a moderate golf handicap!

Prior to joining Peloton, Dave spent a number of years at Fidelity Investments where he led, managed and serviced business partners across Finance Transformation, Budgeting & Planning, Profitability, and a host of other functional areas that leveraged reporting and analytic solutions. Before Fidelity, he was part of the Palladium Group where he was the Boston Office lead and a Hyperion Practice lead. In this role, Dave was active on several local user groups and on the Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase customer advisory boards (with Oracle Corporation).

Prior to Palladium, Dave worked for Painted Word and Navigator Systems where he focused in various planning and finance capacities and where he consulted to several national clients including Booz Allen, EMC, Fidelity Investments, Liberty Mutual, Staples, Stop and Shop, and Wal-Mart. He holds a degree in Finance from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT.

Rich Clayton ('87)
Vice President of Marketing for Business Analytics Global Business Unit, Oracle Corporation

Rich Clayton is Vice President of Marketing for Oracle's Business Analytics products. In this role, Mr. Clayton leads Oracle's Global Business Unit and is responsible for driving the global go-to-market strategy for products, channels and sales enablement for Business Intelligence, Enterprise Performance Management and Predictive Analytics.

For the last 17 years, Mr. Clayton has been marketing enterprise software applications and technology for large, multi-national companies. At Hyperion, Mr. Clayton was vice president of product marketing responsible for go-to-market planning, product positioning, market strategy, and pricing and licensing.

Prior to joining Hyperion, Mr. Clayton was vice president of marketing for a venture backed startup focused on building online e-marketing services for Fortune 1000 companies.

Before joining the technology industry, Mr. Clayton held various corporate finance roles and was a public auditor with McGladrey in Chicago.

Mr. Clayton earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Loras College.

Chris Kohlmann
Information Systems Manager, City of Dubuque

Chris Kohlmann is Information Services Manager for the City of Dubuque, Iowa, leading a staff of eight. Chris has served in this position since 1984 and has worked in IT since 1981.  The City’s Information Services Department supports approximately 600 end-user accounts at 28 locations including mission-critical city services such public safety, emergency management and public works.

In 2009, IBM and Dubuque announced a collaboration aimed at making this community of 60,000 one of the first “smarter” sustainable cities in the U.S. Dubuque is recognized as a national leader in sustainability with its forward-thinking public policy and, together with IBM, will address the ever-increasing demands of cities to deliver vital services such as water management, energy and transportation, all while reducing the community's impact on the environment. Chris has facilitated the technology interface for the Smarter Sustainable Dubuque initiative with all of the project partners since the inception of the project.

Chris holds a degree in Computer Science and mathematics from Clarke College (now Clarke University) in Dubuque, Iowa. She has attended and taught numerous seminars and classes.

Amy Mayer
Vice President for North America Analytics Practice, CapGemini

Amy Mayer is the Leader of North America Oracle Service Line at Capgemini.  Amy joined Capgemini in May 2011 when Capgemini acquired her company BI Consulting Group. 

Amy started started her career in business intelligence and data warehousing in 1997 and has an extreme passion for the space as well as ensuring the success of BI Consulting Group’s customers. 

Amy has worked with many BI technologies and specifically chose Oracle BI to dedicate her company to back in 2004. She felt that this was a technology that she could feel confident in recommending to her clients to ensure their success and maximum ROI .

Amy personally works with many of BI Consulting Group’s customers. She is able to help them build their BI/EPM strategy, vision and roadmap as well as provide them recommendations on how to build their internal practice to support their efforts in the future.

In 2009, Mayer was named as a Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Minneapolis/Saint Paul Business Journal for her efforts in growing a consulting firm with world renowned experience.
