The investment in a college education may be the most important decision a family makes together. Loras College is once again offering families an innovative financial aid program aimed at making a Loras education more financially feasible.
Students from four Midwest states who qualify for the Four State Flagship Rate, apply and are accepted to Loras will see tuition, fees, room and board more closely resembling public university cost, making the prospect of the Loras experience a reality for many families.
“We are continuing to make a private, liberal arts education accessible to future students from Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. The new program offers a qualified student the opportunity to attend Loras College and earn a quality private liberal arts education at the cost of their home state flagship public institution,” explained Omar Correa, Vice President of Enrollment Management at Loras.
“Not everyone investigates the merits of private higher education as closely as they should. Loras has a history of providing an outstanding education which leads to extraordinary job placement and graduate school entry. We do so by making student cost of attendance reasonable. This new program allows us to immediately break down artificial barriers while encouraging even more quality students to attend Loras,” President Jim Collins stated.
