Psychology focuses on many different aspects of the human experience: thought, behavior, motivation, emotion, personality and physiology to name a few. The Loras Psychology program is one of the oldest, largest and most widely respected psychology programs in the Midwest.  Students who graduate from Loras College with a Psychology Major are able to think critically, understand research, apply psychological theories and concepts, and respond ethically to important human dilemmas. The psychology major curriculum meets the standards for undergraduate education endorsed by the American Psychological Association.
