Loras College has authorized The National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the Internet.
1. What is The National Student Clearinghouse?
To order an official transcript(s), go to National Student Clearinghouse
The site will walk you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. You can order as many transcripts as you like in a single session. Credit cards are charged after orders are processed and posted.
Order updates will be emailed or texted to you. You can also check order status or history online through The National Student Clearinghouse

The Clearinghouse is the leading provider of educational reporting, verification and research on behalf of its participating institutions to the nation's colleges and high schools, student lending community, the Department of Education, state and other educational agencies, students and alumni, and thousands of employers and other organizations. Clearinghouse services are designed to facilitate an institution's compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, The Higher Education Act, and other applicable laws. Loras College has designated The National Student Clearinghouse as the school’s trusted agent for processing transcript orders using the Web.
2. Is my signature required to order a transcript?
Yes, your written or electronic signature is required for all transcript orders. You will be required to complete and sign a Consent Form on the website.
3. How do I make payment for my transcript order?
Payment is made by Visa or MasterCard as part of the ordering process. The credit card will not be charged until your transcript is processed and delivered by Loras College.
4. Is it safe to enter my credit card information on this Web site?
Yes. The National Student Clearinghouse utilizes the most current security techniques to keep your personal information and identity secure.
5. How long will it take for my order to be received?
Once your order and signed consent form is received by The National Student Clearinghouse, your transcript order will be processed as quickly as possible. Times will vary during the academic school year with large number of requests typically occurring at the start and end of the semester. The system will automatically send you an email notification when the status of your transcript order changes.
6. How can I check the current status of my transcript order?
You may check the status of your transcript order by logging into The National Student Clearinghouse. You also have the option to receive text message notifications of your order status.
7. How long will it take for my transcript to be delivered?
If your transcript is sent by electronic transcript delivery, your transcript will be delivered immediately upon processing your request. Providing the email address of your recipient will enable electronic delivery for those schools that use this electronic delivery option. Actual delivery time for transcripts sent by U. S. first class mail or express mail service is at the discretion of the carrier.
8. What is electronic transcript delivery?
Your transcript is sent as a secure PDF document through the National Student Clearinghouse Electronic Transcript Delivery Network. You will be notified by email (1) when your electronic transcript is sent, and (2) when the recipient receives and views your transcript.
10. What should I do if my transcript has not been received?
If your transcript was delivered electronically and you received notification of receipt, contact the receiver. If your transcript was mailed by U.S. first class mail, please allow sufficient time for delivery. If your transcript was mailed using an express mail service, check the tracking number of the express service. If your transcript needs to be re-ordered, you will need to submit a new transcript order with payment.
