Merit-Based Assistance & Loras Sponsored Scholarship Programs
Loras offers five (5) full tuition scholarships to qualified candidates who have at least a 3.75 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale and a minimum 27 ACT composite score. Loras Merit Awards
Loras offers academic scholarships to all accepted students. Scholarships range from $7,000 - $21,000.
Breitbach Catholic Thinkers and Leaders Program / Scholarship
This $17,000 per year scholarship is awarded to 15 selected applicants. The Breitbach Catholic Thinkers & Leaders Program is a unique and vibrant four-year experience. Its goal is to challenge and engage the whole student, helping you to develop academically, spiritually, personally and socially while learning what it means to be a Catholic thinker and leader in today’s modern world. Global Scholars And Citizens Program / Scholarship
The Global Scholars and Citizens Program offers $1,000 per year, and is designed to deepen students’ understanding of 21st century China by engaging students in the study of language, culture and contemporary issues. Pope John Paul II Memorial Program / Scholarship
One (1) $5,000 and Four (4) $2,000 scholarships awarded. Learn more and apply now or contact the Office of Admission to receive additional information.
$500 - $2,000 per year awarded based on audition and open to all majors. Students must be accepted to the college to be eligible to audition. National Alumni Board Scholarship
$3,000 per year awarded to a selected student each year and renewable for three years. Learn more and apply or contact us for additional details.
Cristo Rey Scholarship
Loras College provides two Cristo Rey students with an annual full-tuition scholarship. Applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA and enroll as a full time student at Loras College. Applicants should show strong academic standing in high school and involvement outside the classroom whether it be through service, organizations/clubs, or community. The scholarship is awarded to two incoming first year students from the Cristo Rey network and is renewed each of the four years they attend Loras contingent on maintaining the financial and academic requirements. The amount is based on financial need and total of other Loras College scholarships and grants awarded. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress.
To ensure full consideration for scholarships and grants, students must be applied, accepted and have all current transcripts and test scores sent to Loras College by January 31, 2015. Scholarships cited subject to change prior to January 1, 2015. Scholarships may be renewable.
