Academic Services Offered
Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction is a voluntary program that offers students free, regularly scheduled study sessions for traditionally difficult courses. SI sessions are led by SI Leaders who are current Loras students who have successfully completed the respective course for which the SI is being offered.
Writing Center
The Writing Center is located in the library’s Learning Commons and offers one-on-one sessions with trained tutors to help Loras writers with their writing projects. Tutors work with students of all levels from across campus on every stage of the writing process: brainstorming, pre-writing, drafting, revision, and polishing.
Math Lab
Mathematics faculty members are available in the Learning Commons for students for drop-in assistance with any math-related questions. All students, regardless of current math course enrollment, are welcome.
Lynch Disability Resource & Cultural Center
Loras recognizes the dignity of persons with disabilities and challenges you to grow in our supportive environment. Various services are available, including our unique Autism Resources for Career in Higher Education (ARCH) program.
