Book Launch – Beyond Our Selves: Vocation and the Common Good

The School of Humanities and Education is proud to present a book launch event for Called Beyond Our Selves: Vocation and the Common Good, edited by Erin VanLaningham, Professor of English. We invite you to join us for a book reading on February 8th, at 7 pm in the MARC 3rd floor commons.

This new book of scholarship on vocation and the common good explores the ways individual success relates to the flourishing of others. Erin VanLaningham, editor of and contributor to the collection published by Oxford University Press, will present on how educators can deepen and expand our notions of vocation to include not just personal fulfillment but communal well-being.
