Dr. Biniv K. Maskay is an empirical macroeconomist with research interests in economic growth and development, open-economy monetary policy, financial development, international financial integration, international trade, and foreign direct investments.

He received his PhD in 2012 from the University of Kentucky, where he also served as the instructor of record. He has taught courses in the principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, statistics for business and economics, money and banking, international economics, and growth and development at both Loras College and the University of Kentucky.
