Dr. Kenny Loui completed his PhD in criminal justice at Nova Southeastern University. He teaches a variety of courses in the criminal justice program and serves as the faculty advisor for the Pi Epsilon Pi chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the Criminal Justice Honor Society. Dr. Loui’s courses include criminology, criminal investigation, crime prevention, juvenile delinquency and justice, white collar crime, police and society, justice and pop culture diplomacy, and criminal justice senior seminar.

Dr. Loui is a member of the Civil Air Patrol, US Air Force Auxiliary, and currently holds the rank of major and serves on the CAP National Cadet Programs staff as the assistant school programs coordinator. His research interests include comparative criminal justice (focus on East Asia), bullying prevention, and school resource officer programs. Combining his love of creative writing and Japanese anime/manga, Dr. Loui authored Life Lessons from a UFO Catcher, an award-winning autobiographical webtoon and graphic novel series.
