Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee

Loras College is committed to performing animal research humanely and competently. The Loras College Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) reviews, and, if warranted, investigates concerns involving the care and use of animals resulting from public complaints, or reports of noncompliance from laboratory or research facility employees or personnel.

Animal Care & Use

The IACUC will take any reported concern seriously and investigate it thoroughly. Whether or not made anonymously, all reviews and investigations will be dealt with confidentially to the extent reasonably possible. The contacts listed below welcome questions or concerns about animal care and use at Loras College.
