Loras offers scholarships to new, incoming graduate students. Each master’s degree program awards one $2,000 scholarship for each program entry term.


Deadline & Selection Process

  • Scholarship applications are due one month prior to the start of your first semester in the program.
  • Application materials submitted for program admission will be used as part of the scholarship review and selection process.
  • Scholarship recipients will be notified at least two weeks prior to the start of the semester.
  • The scholarship award will be applied to the student’s financial aid award letter.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be admitted or conditionally/provisionally admitted to a master’s program before applying.
  • Submit your FAFSA one month before your first semester.
  • Scholarship is only open to domestic students eligible for federal financial aid.
  • Scholarships are awarded to high-merit, high-need students by a review committee.
  • Recipients must enroll in at least 6 graduate credits their first semester.
  • Students receiving any tuition reimbursement or corporate partnership discount are not eligible.
  • Loras College employees are not eligible.
