Sharon joins Loras from Ball State University where she earned her doctorate in higher education. She also studied sport and exercise psychology while at Ball State, which led to her research interest in behavioral health, burnout, compassion, and resilience. Prior to Ball State, Sharon worked for a small school in Iowa as an assistant athletic trainer. She also earned her master’s degree in athletic training from Illinois State University and her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Buena Vista University.
