Loras, St. Ambrose Sign Physical Therapy Agreement
Loras College and St. Ambrose University have entered a collaboration that will benefit students pursuing graduate study in physical therapy. The collaboration provides an opportunity for students to complete both a bachelor’s degree and a doctor of physical therapy degree in five and a half years through a 3+2.5 articulation agreement.

President Collins Named Iowa Board Chair of Iowa & Minnesota Campus Compact
The Iowa & Minnesota Campus Compact announced that Loras College President Jim Collins (’84) will serve as Iowa Board Chair beginning July 1, 2020. Collins will help to continue the three-year strategic alliance between the two states and create a framework for increase commitment to equity.

Ken Quinn (’64) Retires as President of the World Food Prize Foundation
Ken Quinn, Ph.D. (’64) has retired as president from the World Food Prize Foundation in Des Moines, Iowa after 20 years. Quinn has been an excellent example of what success looks like after life as a Duhawk.

Gibson Receives Harlan–Peterson Award for Lifetime Achievement
The State Historical Society of Iowa named Michael Gibson (MA '91) as the 2020 recipient of the William J. Petersen & Edgar R. Harlan Lifetime Achievement Award. The award is one of the most prestigious history honors bestowed in the state.
