Associate Professor Seth D. Myers’ film Bella wins Grand Prize at New Jersey International Festival in New Jersey
The 39th New Jersey International Film Festival at Rutgers University, and showcased the best in international independent film. Bella, co-created by Loras professor Seth Myers with international artist Sarah Stolar, was one of 40 films selected from over 840 submissions to take place in this year's hybrid festival. More

Pollock Earns Prize from Magma Poetry Competition
Jim Pollock, Ph.D., professor of English, has been awarded the £1000 ($1289) Editors’ Prize in the Magma Poetry Competition in London, UK. The poem, “Goose Neck Lamp,” will appear in an upcoming issue of Magma, a well-known British poetry journal. Pollock will travel to London to attend the Prize reading. More
