Award Established for Graduates of Cristo Rey Network High Schools
Loras College proudly announces the Loras College Cristo Rey Award. A $100,000 gift from Brian J. Smith (’77) will help support Loras students from the Cristo Rey Network of 38 High Schools that integrate rigorous college preparatory academics incorporating four years of corporate work study experience.

New Master of Arts in Disability Studies
A groundbreaking, first-in-the-region graduate program will be added to Loras’ academic offerings beginning this fall. This disability studies master's program is well-suited for administrators, social service professionals, educators, advocates, individuals with disabilities, and family members.

Asia Singleton's documentary film, Through My Truth, created in her field production class has secured a streaming deal with BET (Black Entertainment Television).

Dubuque Racing Association
Loras College was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from the Dubuque Racing Association. The funds will support the creation of a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) innovation laboratory in the St. Joseph Hall of Science.
