Loras Receives $649,065 Grant for STEM Program
Loras College receives $649,065 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to fund a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) program. It builds on the College’s award-winning, community-based learning programs, and works to prepare students to fill critical workforce needs. The program is projected to begin fall, 2019.

Image and Imagination from the Middle Ages
The Loras College HIS 341 course established “Image and Imagination from the Middle Ages”, an interactive internet exhibit for the Loras College Library offering topical essays, images, information, and a full-text scan of one of the most impressive manuscripts in the College’s Rare Book Collection.

Loras, Mercy Team-up for 3+1 Nursing Program
Mercy College of Health Sciences and Loras College are partnering to offer a new 3+1 program that provides an opportunity for students to earn two degrees in four years; a bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from Loras and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) through an accelerated pathway from Mercy College.
