A Journey of Faith and Service in the Bronx
Josie Edel ('23), a Loras graduate, became a Seton Teaching Fellow in the South Bronx after majoring in Spanish, politics, and religious studies. Now a full-time first-grade teacher at Brilla Public Charter Schools, Josie credits Loras for deepening her faith and instilling a service-oriented worldview, which shaped her teaching approach and community involvement.
